The School the Sherry Roundup of the Gentlemen returns to participate this year in a new edition of the educative project Cantania Andalusia, along with several educative centers of this neighboring community with which it comes working in the vocal interpretation and putting in scene from a musical work.
The project Cantania is designed and produced by the Auditori of Barcelona, has an ample trajectory and it is carried out in different autonomous regions, among them in Andalusia. Throughout the course, students of 5º course know a musical work and work around her for, finally, putting voice to him and representing it, since they also prepare a choreography and atrezo in agreement with the thematic one of the same.
In Extremadura, the School the Roundup is pioneering in this educative and musical experience that the encounter makes possible and the coexistence through tests as which it was the past celebrated 12 of May in the cinema theater Balboa, with the participation of students of the jerezano School and the Schools the Rosales, of Mairena of the Aljarafe, and Olivo, of Almensilla, both in the province of Seville, with whom it participates in this project, together also to the School Jupiter of San Jos© of the Rinconada. In this edition, the musical work in which comes working takes by title the misfortune of Mim, composed by Jordi Domenech with letter of Pere Riera, according to has informed Francisco Jos© Rivera, director of the School the Roundup. Its argument concentrates in the search of the love over the worldly things and in its interpretation, the choir that all the students integrate, interprets the paper of Cupid. The experience contemplates a final action of the students of the different Schools, that will take place next the 12 of June in the Theater Audience Shores of the Guadaira, from Alcala de Guadaira (Seville).
The test celebrated in Sherry, left to space for the coexistence between the students of the mentioned schools and their professors and for a visit to some significant enclave of the jerezano historical patrimony.
