Cantania Andalusia 2016

During days 10, 11 and 12 of June in the Theater Audience Shores of the Guada­ra of Alcala de Guada­ra has been celebrated 8 concerts with which it concludes Cantania Andalusia 2016, and where 2,500 originating students of 50 schools of the provinces of Cadiz, Seville have taken part, Cordoba and Badajoz.

Cantania Andalusia 2016 consists of some participating educative concerts as a cantata where students of 8 to 12 years sing a professional work specifically designed for them, accompanied by professional singers and musicians in a great musical spectacle.

Like other children of all Catalonia, Aragon, Leon Castile, Madrid, Germany or Brussels, the small Andalusians have interpreted the work who are preparing throughout all the school year: €œBABAUA, THE MISFORTUNE OF MIM€. The history narrates the eventful journeys of Mim­, a capricious young person that only lives worried about its aspect and to which it is very difficult to find husband to him, since no of its pretenders seems to him suitable. Cupid decides to help it and it offers an original pact to him: to take to Mim­ until the man of its dreams, if it accepts to realise a fascinating trip by the space and the time. A trip that will allow Mim­ to meet characters and events capital importance for the technological evolution the humanity, as well as to discover the benefits of the learning.

Cantania is designed and produced by the educative service of L'Auditori of Barcelona, international leader in the creation of educative musical projects, convinced of the value of music for the growth of the individual and where they develop projects so that the quality music comprises of all the people. It takes in operation for more than 25 years in Spain and several European and Latin American countries. The project is devised for the creative and social development of the student, although by the artistic quality and the personal implication that supposes, a great cultural and educative impact is obtained as much on the children as in its families and the educative system. Thus it has been for more than 50 centers of Andalusia and Extremadura and more than 5,000 children than already has lived it.

The Association Passion by Music for 5 years the one of its objectives use of music as tool of social transformation has been impelling this great project for Andalusia to the being and that the quality music of life comprises daily of all the people. Throughout these 4 editions the project has been consolidated with the increasing participation of schools and conservatories of diverse provinces, and with the endorsement of Foundation SGAE and the Cajasol Foundation, among others, which will allow that the year next Cantania or a reality in the Theater Fault of Cadiz and the province of Malaga.

To become familiar with music and major motivation

The objectives and benefits of Cantania are many: to help the children to become familiar with music and to love doing it to them contributor assets of the musical fact; to work on the self-esteem, the overcoming, the work in equipment; and to elevate the social consideration of the subject of music and the teacher of music within the school. Also, the music professors are themselves motivated when entering in touch to each other; he exerts a great impact in the educative community when putting in network to all the enrolled centers. For the families, he changes the perception of all the center of Primary, securing to the integration of social communities different when sharing this experience.

Cantania Andalusia 2016

Cantania is an integrating project opened to all the centers. In him all the children of the class participate, know or not to sing, trying that is an unforgettable experience for them and their families. Each center has chosen the level of Primary the participant course between 3º of and 1º of THAT, as well as the number of children. Every year, the Auditori of Barcelona invites to recognized composers and authors to create a complete work. It publishes it in CD and it instructs to the professors of music of the different participant schools in the preparation from this spectacle. After three formative sessions the educational ones happen to work with the students the work within the school schedule. The center that subscribes to this program it must include in its agenda. The students try throughout the course the songs, choreographies and prepare their atrezzos in class, for soon in a single previous general test to the concert, to make the putting common with the rest of schools.
